LinkedIn posts API: post details, keyword search and video transcripts

Work with public LinkedIn posts through three REST calls. Fetch one post or article by URL to get its title, headline, full text, author info with follower count, publication date, reactions, comment count and individual comments. Search public posts, feed updates and Pulse articles by keyword with an optional date_posted filter. For posts with video, read the native transcript when LinkedIn exposes one publicly.

FAQ

How do I get the data of a LinkedIn post?

Call the post endpoint with url. It returns the title, headline, full description text, author info with follower count, publication date, like count, comment count and individual comments. For public feed posts, activityUrn and contentUrn are included when LinkedIn exposes them.

How does LinkedIn post search work?

Call the search posts endpoint with query, and optionally date_posted for recent posts. Results come from what public search engines have indexed, so this is best-effort and not a complete LinkedIn-native search. Pass the returned cursor in next_cursor; cursors are limited to pages 1 through 11.

Can I get the transcript of a LinkedIn video?

Yes, when LinkedIn exposes one publicly. Call the post transcript endpoint with the post url. If the post has no transcript, the result is null with transcriptNotAvailable. The endpoint returns native captions only and does not use AI transcription.

Am I charged when there is no transcript?

No. The transcript endpoint only deducts credits when a transcript is returned. Empty transcripts and errors cost nothing, so you can check many video posts without paying for the ones that have no captions.

Does it work for articles too?

Yes. The post endpoint handles LinkedIn posts and articles, and search covers public posts, feed updates and Pulse articles. Post responses also include related articles from the same author in moreArticles.

How do I pay and get my API key?

Open the Buy page, pick the Freelance plan and pay in USDT on TRC20 or ERC20. The key is shown once, right after the payment is confirmed on-chain.

How many credits does one call use?

The cost table on this page lists credits per call for each endpoint. The Freelance plan is $45 for 27,000 credits per 30 days.
